How to Fill TNEA 2021 Application Form?
Step 1:
Registration- In the first step, candidates will have to register by visiting
tneaonline.org and clicking on the “Application” link. Candidates will have to
enter the following details for registration-
Name
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- Qualifying exam
- HSC registration number
- Login ID
- Date of birth
- Year of passing
- Create Password
- Enter “OTP” received at registered mobile number
- Click on the “Register” button.
Once the registration is completed, candidates will receive User ID on their
registered email and mobile number.
Step 2:
Login- Next, candidates will have to login to the candidate portal using
the User ID and password to completely fill the TNEA application form.
Step 3:
Personal Information- Candidates will have to enter the following
personal details in TNEA 2021 application form-
- Gender
- Nationality
- Nativity
- Community
- Religion
- Caste name
- Parent’s name
- Contact address
- Permanent address
- Aadhaar number
- District
- State
- Pincode
After entering all the details, candidates will have to click on “Save &
Proceed”.
Step 4:
Special Reservation Information- If the candidates fall under the special
reservation category such as sports, ex-servicemen and differently abled
category, then they will have to enter the required category details in this
step.
Step 5:
Fee Payment- In this step, candidates will have to submit the TNEA 2021
application fee in online or offline mode. Online payment can be done through
net banking/credit card/debit card and offline payment can be made through a
Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering
Admissions, Anna University” payable at Chennai. Candidates willing to make
fee payment in offline mode will be able to do it only at the TNEA
Facilitation Centres (TFC). Those belonging to other states can pay the fee in
online mode.

Step 6:
Scholarship Information- After the payment of application fee, candidates will
be required to enter the details about the annual income of their parents
along with entering details about the required scholarship.
Step 7:
School of Study Information- Next, candidates will be required to submit
details related to their Class 7th to 12th.
Step 8:
Academic Details- In this step, candidates will have to enter details about
their qualifying exam like board name, obtained marks, year of passing, etc.
Step 9:
Additional Information- Next, candidates will have to enter all other
additional details of the TNEA application form like occupation of parents,
mother tongue, medium of instruction, etc.
Step 10:
Preview/Submit Application Form- Once all the details of the form are entered,
a “Preview” of the application form will be generated. Candidates are advised
to check all the details of the form and edit it, if required. Once, all
corrections are made (if required), candidates will have to click on the
“Submit” button.
Step 11:
Download Application Form- In the last step, candidates will have to download
their completely filled TNEA 2021 application form and take a printout.
Candidates must note that they will have to submit the printed application
form at TFC along with other documents for verification.
